Examination Procedure for Getting a Driving License
To obtain a driving license in Gujarat, an applicant will have to appear for an online test to answer questions related to traffic regulations and signals. To pass the test, an applicant will have to give the correct answer for at least 11 questions out of 15 questions asked. 48 seconds are given to answer each question and an applicant can reappear for the test within 24 hours on failing the test. An applicant looking to add an additional category of vehicle in the existing driving license is not required to appear for an online test.
Driving test procedure:
30 days after procuring a learning license, an applicant can appear for a driving test. The driving test is conducted on the same vehicle type for which the applicant has applied for.
