Today Good News May Come For Our Lord Farmers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Kisan Mannad Yojana on Thursday. The scheme will be started from Jharkhand. This is a one-way farmer's pension plan. Under which, after 60 years, farmers will get Rs 3000 as a pension. The fund will be managed by LIC.

The enrollment process begins:

The goal is to get a large number of farmers involved before the launch of the scheme. About 10,000 Common Centers have been opened for it in Jharkhand. The scheme aims to reach 5 crore farmers. Five crore small and marginal farmers will be annexed in three years.

Who will benefit:

The scheme will benefit the farmers who have up to 2 hectares of cultivated land. Farmers aged 18 to 40 can join it. To avail the scheme, Rs 55 will have to be deposited every month. The amount will be transferred directly to the account. This will increase the annual burden of Rs 10,774.5 crore on government exchequer.

The government will help:

Under this scheme, the government will deposit the same amount as the farmer will deposit. If one is around 29 years of age, he will have to pay 100 rupees. Those who are younger will have to pay less and those older will have to pay a little more. The government approved the scheme in the first cabinet meeting.
