Quick Infor About Central Industrial Security Force: The CISF came into existence in 1969 with a modest beginning, having three battalions, to provide integrated security cover to the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) which, in those years, occupied the “commanding heights” of the economy. In four decades, the Force has grown several folds to reach one lakh forty-one thousand seven hundred and thirty-five personnel today. With globalization and liberalization of the economy, CISF is no longer a PSU-centric organization. Instead, it has become a premier multi-skilled security agency of the country, mandated to provide security to major critical infrastructure installations of the country in diverse areas. CISF is currently providing security cover to nuclear installations, space establishments, airports, seaports, power plants, sensitive Government buildings and ever heritage monuments. Among the important responsibilities recently entrusted to the CISF are the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, VIP Security, Disaster Management and establishment of a Formed Police Unit (FPU) of the UN at Haiti.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or it's equivalent from a recognized board for skilled trades (i.e. Barber, Boot Maker, Cook, Carpenter, Electrician, Mason, Mali, Painter, Plumber and Washer Man). Industrial Training Institute trained personnel will be preferred. Matriculation or it's equivalent from a recognized board for unskilled trades (i.e. Sweeper). Age Limit: Between 18 years to 23 years as on 01-08-2019. The candidate should not have been born earlier than 02-08-1996 and later than 01-08-2001.

Application Fee: 

Rs.100/- from UR, OBC and EWS candidates will be charged. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying a fee.

Pay Scale: Rs. 21700/- to Rs. 69100/- plus
